Coalition For Spiritual and Public Leadership
Economic Justice Organizer
I have worked as a community organizer for over 12 years mobilizing the skills, energy, and vision of community members impacted by injustice.

I'm driven to promote economic, social, and racial equity through co-developing sustainable community-driven solutions. I worked as the first executive director of the Quinn Community where I helped to develop a catering cooperative called Mujer Unidas. I was part of a team of leaders who funded the Coalition For Spiritual and Public Leadership (CSPL). I served as CSPL's first Board President. Currently, I work as an economic justice organizer with CSPL helping to create worker owned cooperatives. I was born and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico and have lived in Chicago for over 25 years.

The Coalition for Spiritual & Public Leadership  is a Chicagoland not-for-profit, multi-racial, multi-ethnic grassroots led coalition that includes parishes, institutions and communities to address racial, social, economic, and environmental injustice by building power that is rooted in the vision of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
